Read this before you apply
Every one of these roles carries strong equity and a comfortable salary. We are not asking anyone to work for a lottery ticket.
What we are asking for is rarer than that, and for about 99 percent of good engineers and operators this is simply not the right job. We work twelve hours a day, not eight, and we move at a speed that most teams would call unreasonable. That speed is not a phase we are going through before things calm down. It is the thing that has to hold.
So apply if that is the environment you have been looking for and have not found. Do not apply because the equity looks good. The first week makes the difference obvious to everyone, including you.
CTO
You own the technical direction and the architecture, and you build the first team around it.

- Berlin, in person, and you are in the code every week, not only in the roadmap
Backend / Platform Engineer
You build the platform the whole product runs on, and you keep it standing while it grows.
- The gateway, the model registry, the quality gates and the measurement behind every claim we make
- EU infrastructure, GDPR by construction, and latency budgets that are written down
- Berlin, in person, and you ship to production in your first week
Cost Efficiency Engineer
You own the number the company is named after: what a task costs, and how much lower it can go without the answer getting worse.
- Caching, context compression and routing across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and the open weight field
- You will measure your own work in cents per request, not in tickets closed
- Every saving has to clear a quality gate you built and can defend
Founder’s Associate
You take whatever is on the founder’s desk and finish it, from a customer call to a hiring pipeline to a spreadsheet nobody wants to own.
- No fixed scope, and the scope changes every two weeks because the company does
- You run outbound, calls and demos with the founder in the room until you no longer need him there
- Berlin, in person, and no playbook to inherit because there is not one yet
